Hello again. Today has been an interesting day. I am reading the book The Shack. It is a very deep book about God and relationships with him and on earth. It is making me think maybe a little to much. Which is making my head hurt. I am celebrating however that I have the next three days off work. I told my son to get caught up on his anime tonight so we can discuss it tomorrow, however we will be cleaning getting ready for turkey day. This will put me a my best as the kids say, "Mom will be freaking out!!" Oh so much fun. Now I also just have to figure out how I am going to pay for the dinner. I have the turkey, one and it seems about 40 people are coming. Oh well God made enough to feed thousands out of a few fish and some loafs of bread right? Well if anybody is out there reading this let me know. Have a very happy Thanksgiving.

Hello, I am back. Not to talk about anime though. My son hasn't even had time for anime lately. It is all starting to fill up our dvr. He has been working on and performing in his high school play, The Beauty and the Beast. Work, funerals, and the likes have kept running so I just really so not have a lot to blog about.

Well I have run out of things to say about Anime as I have had little time to spend with my son discussing this matter. So today I am going to talk about school. I have gone back to college after 20 some years and am studying to get my teaching degree. It takes a lot of time but I am sure it will be well worth it in the end. I have worked in two different schools as a pareducator for the last 8 years. Now class has started and I have to close for now. Be back later.

Well hello. It has been a few weeks. My son got some really cool t shirts from the festival. I haven't got to share much Anime with him recently as I have been busy. However he still dvr's his shows and watches them weekly. I have just been busy with school, work and a teenage daughter.

My Son went to the Japanese festival at jccc this weekend. He loved it. The Drummers were awesome and he had a blast. However while he was there he ran into my nephew who was there. He told him about an anime festival in Feb. My son is now hoping to get to go. This just proves my point that it is everywhere. I am just wondering if they are dressing up to go to it.

Where was I? Oh watching some of the Anime. Of course there are the ones I just don't get , but most of them are someone fighting somebody else. It seems kind of violent, however they are not people, most of the time they are other world creatures. It is a good versus evil thing. A question I have is how many good versus evil shows can there be? Well from the looks of it there can be bunch.

There are Anime conventions. Like Trekies have conventions and they go as their favorite characters. Well Japanese Anime fans do this in Anime also. They dress as theese characters and go to conventions or parties. I have watched some of the shows with my son. There is one that reminds me of our Batman and others that I don't quite understand.

OK now about this Japanese Anime World. As I was researching I found in Tokyo's Anime center you can take a virtual tour. This is pretty neat. It is the center where Pokemon was created among other Anime shows. I read that it is a big tourist attraction, which was the start of my clue that there is a lot of people out there into Anime. I knew kids loved these characters, but there is more than just Pokemon, and Adults love these also.

My Sons Anime World

Much to my surprise there is a whole anime world out there. I thought my son was the only one who liked to watch anime. I knew there were other kids who were gamers like he was, maybe not to the extent he is, but I did not know about this Japaneses anime cartoons. My dear middle child loves to game. He will get a new game and play it until he masters it. He plays it obsessively until he masters it. He also like to watch these Japanese cartoons. I though it was just him. Well we got the bright Ideal to do an anime site selling anime. I thought this was just going to be a little thing. Well as I started researching this anime, I found a whole world. There is a goth world, a bikers world ect., I knew this, but an anime world?
